- Are you, (or are your team) in managerial positions because of your functional expertise? How do you develop your people management skills? Our Congruent Line Management programme equips both new and existing line managers to avoid the drain of underperforming individuals and teams, and achieve the best from developing their ability to motivate and manage the levels and styles of all individuals.
What is covered?
- Management styles, and how leading, coaching and mentoring interplay in developing individuals.
- Managing in the here and now, exploring topics such as motivation, the role of feedback, managing seemingly difficult employees, managing and developing high potential employees, and reward and recognition.
- Leading for the future, learning how to effectively set objectives, mission statements and visions which engage and connect with your team.
- The journey of a High Performing Team – and how managers can plan for and achieve this high performance.
- OPTIONAL EXTRA 1 DAY;
- An insight into Metaprograms – a neuro-linguistic programming tool providing you with a greater understanding of yourself and others which is more flexible than psychometric testing in that you can utilise it in the moment, across situations and within different contexts without the reliance on formal psychometric testing procedures.
How is the course experienced?
- This course is run within companies for a maximum of 15 delegates at a time. This means that you all develop in a safe environment, working alongside peers and colleagues and tailoring your learnings to your specific business context.
- This course is highly experiential, which in turn maximises your development as a delegate (as 70% of all learning comes from actual doing!)
- As a delegate you will work on and practice various types of management techniques over the two days, receiving individual personal coaching on your skills both during the course and via additional implementation coaching offered from one month after the event, which means you are individually supported on your entire journey to excellence.
